I pray that this communication finds you and your families in good health and spirit.

Congratulations are in order, to all the elected and appointed, Post/District/Department Officers; you continue to answer the call of duty, to the country and our great organization.

Due to the deadly COVID 19 pandemic, business will not be as usual, and we must work together, hand and hand with our Auxiliaries to come up with new and innovative ways to accomplish the aims and goals of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

There are five (5), Veteran Project Participation Reports (VPR) due by July 31st; Loyalty Day, VE Day, Memorial Day, D-Day, and Flag Day.

District Commanders Call will be the last Thursday of the month beginning on July 30, 2020 at, 19:00 hrs., via Zoom, All Post Commanders, and District Staff are required to attend.

Status Sheets and will be posted online every Wednesday, beginning the second week of August 2020. The status sheets are used to track each Post and the minimum requirements that must be completed in accordance with National and State VFW By-Laws and various legal requirements and a list of VFW Program Objectives that have helped shape and define the VFW as the world’s oldest veterans service organization.

Comrades, in closing, we must always be thinking about and focusing on the priorities of the VFW and not that of ourselves. We must represent the VFW in a favorable light. We must use good judgement in handling the VFW’s business. We must act in the interests of the VFW as a whole and not our own self interests. We must follow the rules if we expect others to follow the rules. Our commitment, communication and teamwork will be the cornerstone to success. We are ONE TEAM, READY & FORWARD!
