District 14 VFW Auxiliary President Monthly Comments
January 1, 2021

Dear Auxiliary Presidents, Sisters and Brothers,
December found us hard at work on the Department of Texas and District 14 Auxiliary VAVS Christmas, headed up by our very own Juanita Workman. Most of our Auxiliaries, several of our Posts and others pitched in to make this a good year for our hospitalized veterans. We were not able to visit our veterans at the VA Hospital due to COVID. Instead, a “stuff the (300) stockings” event was held at the Copperas Cove Post the morning of December 17th to bring everything together. Then two of our VAVS reps delivered the donations to the VA Hospital in the afternoon. Thanks to everyone that participated in this worthwhile project!
Also in December, we completed our Mid-Year reporting and assisted with District Scholarship judging. I think the Holiday break was well deserved!
